📖 How to Fly

• Hold the top half of the screen to burn and rise. Hold the bottom half to vent and sink. That is every control you have.
• You cannot steer sideways. The wind band you are in does that — read the ladder down the left: ▸▸ goes toward the meadow, ◂◂ comes back.
• The top band is fastest and thinnest. The burner drinks gas up there, so speed costs fuel.
• Golden columns lift you for free. Find them and you barely need the burner at all.
• 🪨 Drop ballast to leap upward — but a lighter balloon can never dive as fast again. Spend it carefully.
• Birds tear the envelope, and every tear makes it cool faster for the rest of the flight. They stack.
• Land in the bunting-lined meadow before the sun sets. One star for the delivery, two for every balloon, three for a flight without a scratch.
